DatingAgency.com
Was it worth it?

Dating Agency (datingagency.com) claims to be one of the friendliest dating agencies around. They also claim that you can try out the service for free and you can learn to use the site in only a few minutes. Certainly, the web site is simple and easy to use as there is a menu on the left of the screen with all your options listed. This online dating agency site is visibly tidy with no adverts cluttering up the web site pages. I did find it very nice and smooth to navigate around the site.
The signing up process was fairly straightforward with the usual selection of nickname, password, personal details and personal preferences. I had to use my own words in filling out my description which made a change from the now obligatory check lists. Another interesting point is that all profiles and photos need to be approved before they can go live. Your membership confirmation will be sent via email.
Although DatingAgency offers both free and paid membership, I opted for the six month paid membership as it offers much more than the free service for example; it allows you unlimited messages and online chat facility. I found the search facility very easy to use. It allows you to search by name, keyword, gender, countrywide and worldwide.
DatingAgency also offer these nice touches. It guarantees that you will find love in 6 months or get 6 months free, extensive help pages, dating advice pages, and a selection of success stories.
What I found useful were the following services, very extensive help pages, complaints procedure if you receive an upsetting message, view a list of other members who were currently online and the search option which allowed you to search up to five counties at a time. The search option also allows you to search for partners who have a particular number of children, rather than just someone who has children. May not sound like much on reading but it can make a big difference in practice.
Whenever I went online there were always around 200 other members online, so the site would appear to be fairly busy. Of those online, the majority of members’ ages ranged from 35 to 60 which is quite a good cross-section.
During the first four months I arranged a selection of dates which turned out to be unsuitable for me. However, in month five I met and am still with my newly found soul mate. DatingAgency will not have to use the 6 months free option, after all!
